Introduction

The aim of this assignment is to create my own published photo book on a theme of my choice. I will do this by combining traditional photography skills with modern digital techniques to create an overall high quality finished product. This book should around 50 pages long, and to add experimentation into the pictures I will use 3 different types of cameras. These could be a digital camera, a phone camera, and also a film camera for example. Within this book I can either just use pictures, or pictures and words to communicate information to my audiences. Adding text would anchor meaning, and add a deeper understanding of the images. I also have the option to use purely informative text with the images, or to add fictional meaning to them. 

The experience of looking at images on a book is not the same as encountering images from the television, as they are not moving and you can look at them for a lot longer. You can look at all the details within the image, and decide to turn to the next page of the book to look at the next images when you decide you are ready, instead of you only having 10 seconds or less to look at something before it changes.
